When: Monday 16th November · 9am–4pm

Where: 5 Grimshaw St, Burnley, Lancashire

Price: £99 per person for the morning session

Who it’s for

Employees, managers, HR teams and business owners, as well as teachers, parents, carers and community leaders in Burnley and Lancashire.

What we’ll explore

  • What neurodiversity means and why individual experiences differ.
  • Everyday barriers to communication, learning and participation.
  • Practical ways to adapt communication and offer support.
  • How to ask about someone’s needs without making assumptions.

Why make time for it?

When needs are misunderstood, people can be left without the support that helps them participate. Build the understanding to respond with confidence and make everyday interactions more inclusive.

Who it’s for

A practical event hosted by Neuro-Sparks and ELCONS Employment Law Consultants, helping businesses build more supportive and inclusive workplaces.

Our Aim

The aim is to give attendees useful information they can take back into their own organisations, whether they are already supporting neurodivergent employees or want to build their confidence for the future.

Why make time for it?

If people cannot understand your message or take part in your workplace, you risk missing their ideas, skills and custom. Accessibility helps more people connect with what you do.

Why it matters

Good intentions.
Practical skills.

Inclusion is shaped by everyday decisions. These sessions help you think about what people need—and what you can do differently.

Understand your people.

Move beyond assumptions. Different people can need different approaches to communication, learning and support.

Remove everyday barriers.

Look at the way you share information, work together and welcome people. Small changes can make participation easier.

Put learning into practice.

Give yourself and your team a clearer starting point for conversations and improvements back at work.
